Tingting has training backgrounds in both psychology and social work. She is a registered social worker in NZ and also has achieved a Master’s degree in health psychology from the University of Auckland. She has eight years of experience working with people struggling with various psychosocial challenges in community and primary healthcare settings. Her counselling practice interests are broad, including mild to moderate mental health conditions (e.g., anxiety, depression, sleeping disorder) and other common life struggles such as interpersonal communication, career-related concerns, personal development, and stress management. She is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is also an LGBT-friendly counsellor. The core of her practice is person-centred and positive psychology-based. She draws from different evidence-based practices such as CBT and ACT to guide clients in navigating challenges and pursuing meaningful lives amid difficulties.
