Dr. Hern Sim obtained his dental qualification from University of Otago, New Zealand.
After graduation, he stayed in New Zealand and practiced general dentistry in Wellington as a full-time private general practitioner for 3 years.
He then practiced solely orthodontics alongside with an orthodontist in Hawkes Bay for 4 years before he returned to Miri, his hometown.
In 2007, he set up Bright Smile Dental Clinic with the vision of providing quality and gentle dental care to our patients in a clean and friendly environment.
Since 2018, He has been living in both Malaysia and New Zealand. And whenever he is in Auckland, Caring Clinic Dental will be open for patients to book. His wife is his dental assistant.
His special interest is orthodontics and he continues to improve and upgrade his skills and knowledge in orthodontics by attending courses locally and overseas.
In his free time, he enjoys jogging and playing badminton.
