Dr. Wei Long graduated from Tongji Medical University(currently Huazhong University of Science and Technology) in China in 2003. She worked in Beijing as an emergency physician before she moved to New Zealand.

Introduction:
Wei became a registered doctor in New Zealand in 2010 and has since worked in Auckland, Wellington and Wairarapa. She finished her General Practice training in Wellington and became a fellow of Royal New Zealand College of General Practice in 2018. Wei strives to provide a holistic approach to her patients and believes that medicine is to be tailored to individual needs. She is always keen to listen to your stories and offer her advice and options of management. Dr. Long has a broad range of knowledge and skills and she fully enjoys the diversity and vibrancy of General Practice. Apart from Family medicine, Wei has special interest in skin cancer medicine and cannabis medicine. She also worked as a medical evacuation/retrieval doctor in Singapore for a couple of years before she moved to Auckland with her family in 2021. Wei speaks fluent English and Mandarin.
