He is the only surgeon in New Zealand who is trained in both minimally invasive/robotic cancer surgery & reconstructive urological surgery. He has completed a robotic fellowship at Guy’s Hospital, London & a female, functional & reconstructive fellowship at the University College of London.

Dr. Chong undertook two prestigious overseas fellowship training before returning to New Zealand to pursue his interest in these subspecialties.
